Residential electrician · Denver & Surrounding Area

Denver's home electrical expert.

The Local Electrician is a residential electrical service company built by Will Glitner in South Denver. Will grew up in Littleton, learned his trade working for two residential companies, and spent years watching homeowners get overcharged, misinformed, and left with work that cut corners. He started The Local Electrician to be the contractor people can actually count on. Not a call center. Not a rotating crew of strangers. One guy from your neighborhood who does what he says he’s going to do.

Master electrician

Will is a licensed Colorado master electrician with years of experience in Denver-area homes. You get someone who knows the code and has seen the problem before.

One guy, every visit

You deal with Will, not a dispatcher or whoever is next on the schedule. He gets to know your home, and he picks up when you call.

Line-by-line walkthrough

Before Will leaves, he walks you through the finished job and matches every line on the invoice to the work he did. You can check it yourself.

Honest, written pricing

Will explains the problem and your options, then gives you the price in writing before work starts. You only pay for what you need.

Why homeowners switch

The part the industry keeps skipping.

The usual

You don’t know what’s wrong, and the last guy didn’t explain.

Will's way

Will explains the problem, walks through the options, and makes sure you’re good with the plan before he picks up a tool.

The usual

You’re nervous about getting sold work you don’t need.

Will's way

You only pay for what you need. If it’s a small fix, it’s a small fix. Sometimes that means Will talks himself out of a bigger job.

The usual

You don’t have “a guy.” Every call gets a different face.

Will's way

Same electrician every time. The one who already knows your panel and picks up when you call.

About Will

One guy from your neighborhood.

Will’s approach is simple: show up, explain what needs to happen and why, do the work right, and walk the client through the finished job so every detail matches what was promised. No scare tactics. No unnecessary upsells. Just honest electrical service that puts safety first and builds relationships that last well beyond the invoice. His goal isn’t to become the biggest electrician in Denver. It’s to be the first one people think of when they need someone
they trust in their home.

The goal

Not to be the biggest electrician in Denver, but the first one you think of.

Reviews

What neighbors say

Will arrived on-time and was so professional. He never tried to sell me anything the job did not require. Would definitely recommend!

Karen – Highlands Ranch

I have regained my faith in electricians. Final invoice was actually below budget, promised kept and Will was such a good person.

Tim – Denver

Was told by a previous electrician that I needed an entire new panel. Will came in, found the issue (it wasn’t the panel) and fixed in within the hour. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Carlos – Lakewood

FAQ

Straight answers.

Yes. The Local Electrician was built so you deal with one person who knows your house, Will Giltner.

I only make recommendations that are appropriate and necessary.

Before Will leaves, he walks you through the finished job. Every line on the invoice gets matched to what he did, and you can check it yourself.

What’s happening, where, and when it started. Which breaker trips, which outlets are dead, what you heard or smelled. Photos help. You don’t need any electrical words.

If you see smoke or sparks, smell burning, or an outlet is hot to the touch, shut off the breaker if you can do it safely, and call 911 if there is fire or immediate danger. Then call Will.
